Shurei

Also known as 秋麗 +1

秋麗 · ナシ筑波46号

Shurei is a green Japanese pear from a 1982 Kosui × Chikusui cross. Selected in 1991, it entered national trials the next year and received Norin recognition in 2000. It has dense, juicy flesh with little acidity. Bagging affects its appearance: unbagged fruit develops surface russet.
